We live in Bloomington, Illinois, located two hours from Chicago, St. Louis and Indianapolis. Our diverse community is safe, has good schools, several parks, two universities and a neighborhood full of kids looking for a new playmate!

With our families less than two hours away, our weekends are filled with family get togethers, sleep overs with nieces and nephews and plenty of time outdoors.  Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and lots of cousins are excitedly waiting to welcome our child into the family circle.

Meet Kelly:
Kelly is truly my soul mate. She is determined, goal-oriented and quick to laugh.  Kids are naturally drawn to her because she’s fun, a good listener and she understands them.  She is the reason for so many of the adventures we have had.  I’m excited to share this next adventure with her and I can’t think of anyone who would be a better mom! - Kathy

Kelly is the Director of training at an agri-business company. She has flexible hours, the ability to work from homeand lots of vacation time.

Meet Kathy:
Kathy has a contagious zest for life!  Her joyful spirit, intellectual curiosity and compassion towards others are what drew me to her nine years ago and what makes her the perfect partner for me. Kids turn to her for honest, caring guidance and to play a fun game of Scrabble! I can’t think of anyone I’d rather raise a child with! - Kelly

Kathy is a 7th grade special education teacher and public speaker. She has several holiday breaks and is looking forward to summers off with our child!

Things We Get to Do:
Exploring museums, campgrounds, and bookstores are just a few of the things we look forward to sharing with a child. Pictured below, Kelly is with our nieces and nephew at a museum in Rockford, Illinois checking out a dugout canoe.

The Cottage:
Both of our families love to spend time at the cottage in Wisconsin where Kelly spent her childhood summers. We love to boat, ski, play cards, and visit. With so much to do there, we never have time to watch T.V.!

Projects:
Kathy likes to create book cases and other woodworking projects. She and her niece are currently making a walking stick to take hiking. It is very rewarding to teach a child the simple pleasure of creating easy wood projects.

Kasey & Scout:
They are the best of friends and love kids. Kasey is a mix between a Labrador and a Shepherd while Scout is a West Highland white terrier. It’s easy to imagine taking the dogs for a walk with a child in hand.
